The Urban sports coat is the perfect casual fall and winter jacket. Inspired by old hunting jackets with their shirt collar, snap buttons, and patch pockets. Although we like to see ourselves as real outdoors people, this interpretation is modernized and honest towards the urban lifestyle most of us live. But this does not mean that it can't take a beating! The fabric is highly water resistant, and the jacket features a removable down lining for colder days. The jacket is long enough to fit a blazer underneath and we also like it when it wears a bit wider. Since it's more geared toward the casual side, we like to wear it with a piece of knitwear and a pair of flannel trousers. The taupe colored fabric makes it easy to match with most things s in the wardrobe, which is something we like in a piece of outerwear. While being perfect for casual use it still works perfectly thrown over a suit on the way to the office. In fact, its a great way to withstand the elements while still looking sharp! Some perfect styles to put together with this taupe version would be: Taupe heavy roll neck, white moleskin trousers and a pair of boots! For a more formal look, we would style it with a grey flannel suit, white and blue striped shirt, flannel tie, and a pair of loafers. We offer three versions of the Urban sports coat, two in water-repellent flannel fabric, and one in a heavy-weight 100% camel hair fabric! However, like most of our products we are able to make it in almost any other fabric upon request.

Care instruction: Leave your garment out to air dry. Avoid dry cleaning since it will damage the fibers and shorten the lifespan of your wool garment. Dry clean only when noticeable stains. Use a steamer gently to remove wrinkles.

 Take care of your garment:

  • Use a proper hanger. A good hanger will retain its shape.
  • Let your garment rest – preferably 24 hours after wearing
  • Brush your wool garment once in a while to remove deep rooted dust
  • Rotating with garments in your wardrobe to maintain its durability
