EXPRESSIVE LUXURY – Piccolo Looks & Stories: Spring & Summer 01

PART ONE - Anglo, Italian & American tailoring with French influences

In the process of designing and curating a BLUGIALLO Signature seasonal look, the vintage rearview image is a must before we move onwards. We’ve always been and continue to be about people, places and ambience. And this time is no different. The core inspiration is Anglo-American, with a French touch – silly, yes but incredibly beautiful.

In this part, an inspirational dive into the topics of London chique Fresco wool, Courtside Tropical wool, The ‘Le Phare’ suit & the addition of the ‘WS01’ blazer. Do try to follow, please.

Proper, at first sight.

The Anglo-American Fresco Pinstripe suit in London sky blue

“It was a special day when father finally handed it over to me. That special suit he’d been hogging up for too long now”.

So begins the many tales of a beautiful Pin Stripe Fresco suit, we imagine. But ultimately, someone has to be the first owner of every ‘generational passing’ clothing piece. We feel like it could be you, it’s definitely us.

Therefore, we curated the The Anglo-American Fresco Pinstripe suit. There could only be one color to start with – London sky blue.

"Be tropical, I whispered to my wool suit"

"Wears well in both warm and humid surroundings, especially when made unconstructed"

The 'WS01' blazer in Nocturnal blue

Introducing the 'WS01' - just like a sports jacket, except it's not.

Made from uniquely soft and meticulously spun merino wool, combined with the subtle lustre and luxurious touch of silk. The ‘WS01’ is, truly, something else. Light, unconstructed build with a feeling that wears more like a cardigan, than a classic jacket.

The hopsack weave wears well in both warm and humid surroundings, especially when made unconstructed.

"Inspired by the French Atlantique coast with late night dinners and philosophical conversations drenched in red wine."

France, again.
